Katie spent 12 years working as a news presenter for Five News, ITN and the BBC. Currently, she works for organisations such as Microsoft, MSN, Reed Elsevier, 3 Mobile, Wiley Publishing, Waterstone’s, the Post Office and the Police Federation.

She is joint author of “And What Do You Do?”, with Barrie Hopson (A & C Black, London 2009), a guide to managing ‘portfolio’ careers. Katie also shares her thoughts and observations on all aspects of managing a portfolio career with co-author Barrie Hopson on their blog (http://portfoliocareers.net/).

Saatchi and Saatchi began in 1970 as a start up advertising in London and has since grown to a gobal creative communications company headquartered in New York, with 140 offices in 80 countries. Saatchi & Saatchi is part of the Publicis Groupe, the world’s third largest communications group.

Created specifically for his profile, Andrzej’s role involves assessing brands and brand propositions, and then validating and developing them in a global context. An engineer by background – he studied chemical engineering and spent five years with the industrial group, Solvay. Andrzej applies a rigorous methodology to brand management based on fact-based research, a clear situation analysis and a set of objectives with accompanying metrics.

John Woodward

John’s role is to provide strategic clarity to ensure that brands are presented coherently and compellingly in the market they are presented in across the globe. His client experience includes McDonald’s, Procter and Gamble, Samsung, Heineken, UBS, Zurich Financial Services and Orange.

David Midgley

David Midgley Professor of Marketing, INSEAD

David Midgley joined INSEAD in 1999 as Professor of Marketing. Previously he held visiting positions at the Anderson School, University of California, Los Angeles and the Australian Graduate School of Management, Sydney, where he was Foundation Chair. From 2001 to 2005 he was Coordinator for the Marketing Area at INSEAD.

Professor Midgley has over 100 publications, including papers in leading journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Information Technology, Journal of International Business, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Marketing Science, Management Science, Organization Science and Research Policy. He has also served on the editorial boards of the Journal of Consumer Research and the International Journal of Research in Marketing. His principal areas of research are innovation and strategy.
